FUNDRAISING FOR OUR CHARITIES
Bury Acapeelers have an account with The Cartridge People (http://www.cartridgepeople.com/fundraising/)
who collect empty / spent printer ink cartridges and re-cycle them. In return we receive money towards our choir funds.
We have decided to use this cartridge collecting facility to help us raise money for our Street Choir Charities and we would like to ask all participants to collect as many spent printer ink cartridges as they can; bring them to Bury and help us raise funds through this eco-friendly way.
Please help us by asking all your choir members to collect as many spent printer cartridges as they can collect and carry (from family friends, neighbours and work).
We collect cartridges from ALL printers, from toner cartridges in laser jets to home printer cartridges.
We will have several clearly marked collection containers for the cartridges so that Festival participants can drop them off as
soon as they get here and we will of course let you all know how much was raised via this collection.
FRIDAY NIGHT FOOD:
We are providing a good quality buffet at a cost of £7.00 per person.
Food will be provided by a local Bury catering company who are reknowned for their freshly made,
locally sourced, excellent food. http://www.mydelicious.co.uk/
You MUST pre-order and payment is due with all orders.
Pre-ordering is to ensure that food is not wasted and that all who want a meal will receive a meal.
We will ask for all dietary requirements on the booking form.
Tea, coffee and a bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks will be available in the venue hall.
FESTIVAL T-SHIRTS
T-shirts are white with the 2012 Festival logo on the front and Musicians without Borders logos on the back. www.musicianswithoutborders.org.uk
T-shirts cost £10 each.
ALL Choir MD's also have to pay a Festival participation fee
It's usually the responsibility of the choir body to pay for the MD's participation fee not the MD to pay for their own. BUT it depends on each individual choir's financial arrangements with their MD.
If a choir MD is taking a Sunday workshop they still have to pay a Festival participation.
All the Sunday workshop leaders are provided with a Festival Standard Fee for taking workshops; this is one of the things that the participation fees help to pay for.
